Maid Right Partners with Cleaning For A Reason
Maid Right, one of the nation’s leaders in professional house cleaning services, has partnered with Cleaning For A Reason, a charity that provides free house cleanings to women fighting cancer. In every community where there is a locally owned and operated Maid Right, we make an effort to give back.
Maid Right of North Phoenix was awarded a “Top Partner” distinction from Cleaning For A Reason this year at the 2019 Annual Convention. This is their fourth year involved with this charity. Angela and Ken Clayton, the owners of Maid Right of North Phoenix, say that partnering with Cleaning For A Reason is a great way to give back to their community.
They opened Maid Right of North Phoenix five years ago this St. Patrick’s Day and swiftly decided that they wanted to expand their business model.
“As soon as we started breaking even we knew we wanted to do something to give back,” remembered Ken Clayton.
They originally heard about Cleaning For A Reason from another Maid Right partner. In the past four years, they have consistently cleaned two houses a month for women in need.
Opening Maid Right in the first place was a way for Ken and Angela to boost others. Opening a local business allowed them to employee local community members while also utilizing their skills – both Ken and Angela had busy careers before coming to Maid Right and, as Angela puts it, having used professional cleaning services many times before, they understood the customer mindset!
They didn’t expect to be able to also give back in a creative way as well.
“I think, like everybody, we know people who have been affected by cancer. When we heard about this opportunity we that it was a neat way to give back. We’re not saving the world but we can help a few people who are in really tough situations. We want to give something back to the community that has given so much to us.”
