How does owning a Premium Service Brands home service franchise work?

As a franchisee of Premium Service Brands, you’ll receive the best-in-class training, marketing tools and support, approved vendors for necessary equipment and services, our call center that handles all scheduling and service requests for your customers, expert business coaching, and more. In the franchise agreement, you agree to pay us an upfront fee and a percentage of monthly sales in royalties to open a home service business under one of our established brand names in a designated area of demand near your home.

After signing the franchise agreement, we require that a franchise owner open their new business within three months. Our estimate is approximately 60 days between signing to grand opening, unless you run into extenuating circumstances like problems with securing permits, zoning and local ordinances, weather conditions, or delays in the receival and installation of equipment or fixtures.

Do I need to have prior experience in home services and repairs?

There is no need for prior industry experience, as our training will get you up to speed on everything you must know before opening. Depending on which of our nine home service brands you choose, you may not be the one completing the home service itself. For example, our House Doctor franchise owners never swing a hammer, and serve purely as businesspeople connecting property owners with quality contractors and handymen.

Franchise Location Questions

How do franchise territories work?

Each franchise owner receives a territory with a specific population or number of homes, depending on the franchise brand chosen. This territory is usually delineated by zip codes and surrounds the owner’s home address.

Do I have to have an office location to become a franchise owner?

You will need an office space, but it can be within your home. Each Premium Service Brands franchise owner has the option to either work from a home office or get a separate office location approved by us prior to opening.
