Before Opening

In just 60 to 90 days, our team will market, train, and help you set up your business for opening.

Our In-Depth Franchise Training Program

Over a four week period before opening, our performance team will lead you through a mixture of on-boarding, virtual, and in-person training so you and any other daily managers will be fully prepared to run a prosperous home services business.

The four steps of our initial franchise training program include:

Specialist-Directed On-Boarding: A week-long, approximately 40-hour program to complete the necessary administrative work before training. This includes gaining an understanding of our innovative virtual reality technology for real-feeling sales, estimating, and hiring simulations.

Virtual Training: 40 hours of internet-based training over a two-week period covering:

  • An overview of the home services industry

  • Marketing strategies

  • Technical knowledge needed to run your specific business

  • Sales, pricing, and estimating processes

  • Bookkeeping, job posting, and lead generation software

  • Goal setting and sales projections

Classroom Training: A week-long, 36-hours training program at our headquarters in Charlottesville, Virginia, including:

  • Owner-focused leadership coaching covering grit and growth, performance hacking, culture and retention, hiring, and goal-setting

  • Strategic planning sessions on using KPIs to drive business decisions

  • Sales and interviewing role plays

  • Review of our marketing playbook and learning how to implement it in your business

Field Training: Our robust franchise training plan ends in four hours of on-site field training to make sure your business is completely ready for opening. We will ensure that your hardware and software is set up properly and that you and your team feel fully prepared to operate the business seamlessly.

Our extensive list of established vendors allows franchisees to purchase excellent products while saving hours of research. Owners will know how and where to get the appropriate equipment, signs, fixtures, opening inventory, and supplies to ensure a smoother opening process.
